29. Antony Gormley Exhibition

Gormley's Body Politics examines our species' relationship with its industrialized habitat through five separate works. For Gormley, this is a moment of urgency, where our need for refuge is in dynamic tension with our need to roam (our basic migratory nature). In the video, I learned that the process of making this series of works was not easy. Different materials correspond to different periods of humankind, the Stone Age, the Bronze Age, and the Iron Age. I think my works should also have such correspondence and connotation. 
I also learned from the video that before making these large works, Antony makes small models to see how they feel.
