23. Banksy Exhibition
01/01/2024
Banksy's works are often full of satire, satirizing war, satirizing politics, satirizing capital, satirizing love, and satirizing art.

In the 90's Leonie Laws was in an "on and off again" relationship with Banksy. In 1997 he created a little work based on a photo which had been published in Attack Attack Magazine, which was taken by Andrew Bayles.
This work Banksy gave Leonie as a Valentine's Day gift. It took then 6 years before Banksy officially created "Love is in the Air", also known as The Flower Thrower. The image is now iconic and one of Banksy's best-known and most-loved works.

Bansky's Mona Lisa is very interesting. He placed a screen window in front of the painting, and the screen window was also printed with the Mona Lisa. When overlapped, it creates a trance effect.

On the first floor of Banksy's exhibition, there are many peripheral products, such as printed T-shirts, cups, etc. But I thought these things were a bit too simple and not entirely creative, so I bought two books about banksy.
